Since our Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and 5K is meant for those age 21 or older, you must be at least 21 on race day to register.
The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile experiential destination event that celebrates 200 years of Louisville and Kentucky distilling history. The race begins and ends in downtown Louisville and winds through the scenic fall foliage of Cherokee Park. Walkers are welcome to participate, provided they can maintain an 18-minute per mile pace, as the course will close at 12 p.m.
Returning in 2026, the Urban Bourbon 5K offers a shorter and smoother version of the UBHM.
All participants will receive a long-sleeved shirt and a unique bourbon-themed medal.
Additionally, all registered participants are invited to the award-winner post-race Urban Bourbon Bash, featuring live music by the Louisville Crashers. UBHM participants enjoy bourbon samples, beer, pizza, and soup as part of their registration, while UB5K participants can purchase a discounted wristband for $20 to access the same food and beverage offerings.
Since both events are designed for adults, all participants must be at least 21 years old on Oct. 17, 2026, to register, and online registration closes at 7:59 p.m. on Oct. 16, 2026.
