Urban Bourbon Half Marathon

The Spirit of Racing is Alive and Well

Since our Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is meant for those age 21 or older, you must be at least 21 on race day to register.

Bourbon Bash at Fourth Street Live!

The Bourbon Bash at Fourth Street Live! is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Race participants can enjoy a sampling of bourbons from a number of Kentucky Bourbon Trail distillers. You can also enjoy Bearno’s Pizza, Falls City beer, burgoo and plenty of photo opportunities. The popular local band Louisville Crashers will perform.

Guest admission to the Bourbon Bash is $30 and can be purchased online during registration, at packet pick-up and on race day. Packet pick-up and race day purchases are cash only.

Urban Bourbon Walk

UBHM participants – and others wishing to join in a unique entertainment experience – can score a custom-made, collectible pin on our Urban Bourbon Walk. Visit one – or all – of five locations (Bearno’s by the Bridge, Jockey Silks Bourbon Bar, Merle’s Whiskey Kitchen, O’Shea’s Irish Pub or Troll Pub Under the Bridge) on Oct. 8. Runners who show their finisher’s medal and make a purchase can receive a custom pin. Each establishment will have a unique pin, so collect all five!

Bourbon-themed dinners (Price per person $65, inclusive of tax and gratuity)

Located on the lobby level of the Hyatt Regency Louisville, Sway Restaurant features a unique farm-to-fork concept, as well as an open-air restaurant, and an inviting patio putting you in the action on 4th Street. Plus, it’s located at the UBHM finish line, so you’ll run right past it as you complete the race.

FIRST COURSE:

Fall Harvest Salad: Indiana apples, Kenny’s blue gouda cheese, spiced pecans, fennel, arugula, bourbon- cider vinaigrette

SECOND COURSE:

Mushroom Risotto: Parmesan broth, lemon, thyme, parmesan crisp

Pork Cheek Ravioli: Soy braised pork cheek, broccolini, sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts, red sauce.

-Or-

Trout Ratatouille: Grilled rainbow trout, zucchini, summer squash, eggplant, heirloom tomatoes, Weisenberger grits

THIRD COURSE:

Sweet potato pecan bread pudding w/ bourbon salted caramel.

Specialty Bourbon cocktails included.

NOTE: A vegetarian dinner option can be requested.
