Since our Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and 5K is meant for those age 21 or older, you must be at least 21 on race day to register.
General packet pickup for the 2026 Urban Bourbon Half Marathon and 5K will take place on Friday, Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field, 401 E. Main St., Louisville, Ky. 40202. (There is no additional cost for standard packet pick up.)
Participants will need a valid photo ID that shows date of birth (e.g., driver’s license or student ID). A bourbon tasting will be offered at packet pickup and does not require additional registration.
Someone may pick up your race bib and race shirt on Friday, but they must bring a copy of your ID or race registration confirmation. Since the race bib design incorporates the Bourbon Bash offerings, if someone picks up your bib for you, you will receive a bib without the Bourbon Bash benefits. You will instead show your ID to receive a wristband at the post-race Urban Bourbon Bash at the northern entrance to Fourth Street Live!, which will provide the same offerings as the bib.
Race-day packet pickup is available for runners who choose to pick up their bib and shirt on race morning between 6 and 7:30 a.m. at a dedicated location adjacent to Gear Check. This option is available through Oct. 12, 2026, and can be selected during race registration. The price is $60 per person.
Runners may also choose to have their race packet (bib, shirt) mailed if registered by Sept. 30, 2026. Price is $40 per person.
(NOTE – shipping costs are already included in the registration fees for virtual race participants.)
VIP Packet Pickup at the Monk’s Road Boiler House will be available for up to 70 VIPs who can enjoy a relaxing evening with fellow runners on Friday, Oct. 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. Your bib and race shirt will be ready upon arrival. VIP Packet Pickup includes complimentary hors d’oeuvres, two complimentary bourbon cocktails, the opportunity to purchase an engraved commemorative bottle of Monk’s Road, and a meet and greet with the Master Distiller. The price is $60 per person.
